A Letter from the CEO and Founding Chair
2015 was an exciting year for Alliance For Kids®. The circles in
our logo represent our Volunteers, the Community
Superheroes, our Hero Alliance, our Programs and our Team.
Each of these work together to make Alliance For Kids mission
a success. Each circle is growing equally strong and our
philosophy of Bringing the Community Together was working so
well we decided it was time to transform into a national
charity. Allowing the global community to help us reduce
trauma for all hospitalized kids.
In mid July we began the process of developing community
partners from around the globe and providing our programs to
all hospitalized children.
Our 2015 Tenet Hospitals Hall of Fame Award also highlighted
Alliance For Kids programs. Our Super Serum Program
expanded to include a 3D Animation Series to help children
cope with hospitalization procedures. Production began in
August 2015 and the series is sponsored by GE Healthcare. We
were very honored and proud to be chosen as a charity of
choice by GE Corporation.
Alliance For Kids’ new global strategy would not have evolved
if not for the leadership of our new Chairman of the Board,
Cammie Rice. Ms. Rice brings with her the experience and
expertise needed to create a successful global charity.
Thankfully, we then acquired a valuable and Super Powerful
seven-member Advisory Council to help us successfully
manage the new growth.
We are looking forward to all the challenges and rewards of
helping all hospitalized children with our amazing programs.
Happy Child Healthy Life,
CEO, Founding Chairman
